D1Indexes

The problem

1 s on screen = 100 ms

Why does a query that took 5 ms last year take 500 ms today?

Check every row

One table of 100,000 rows. To find one row, the database reads them all.

D1Indexes

Without an index the database reads every row to find one, and that work grows with the table.
